In the fall of 2000, I began composing this anti-war electronic classical piece, comprised of the manipulated sounds I created from predominantly “non-musical” sources. Reconstituted and remixed in Dolby Atmos on iTunes or Amazon in 2025.

Kansas City was created by The New Basement Tapes, and reimagined in Jeff's basement when he recorded this cover. Produced and performed by Jeff Ertz (acoustic and vocals) & Gary Guitar (percussion, lead electric and bass). Released in 2025.

The Aside grew out of a love for pushing the boundaries of improvisation and song composition. The EP is a snapshot of a year of exploration, engineered by Jeff Ertz where the music happened. With Gary Guitar, Ben Wheeless and Brer Brian Homa.

First recorded live at the Dreamcatcher Repertory Theater (now Vivid Stage) in Summit, NJ in 2019, Jeff wrote TheHarvest as an anti-holiday holiday song.

Released after the birth of Jeff's third son, This Time is a single about whether we can influence the new generation as we raise them, and how what we did or didn't do in life will affect their paths.

Jeff wrote Should for the superPAC-backed Creatives for Humanity that sought to amplify the voice of artists in the lead up to the 2016 US presidential election. CFH showcased Should alongside an array of pro-democracy digital art.

In 2016, Jeff released his first solo EP, So It Goes. Along with the musical stylings of Carl Cheeseman (percussion, banjo harmonium), Jeff produced, engineered and mixed the album in his basement.
