About

Jeff Ertz is a multi-platform storyteller and post production czar at Red Thread Productions, creating and facilitating media in film, television, event production and branded content.

Jeff's film work has ranged from post-supervising features (The 24th), to editing documentaries (Bernadette), scoring music (Spinnaker) sound designing show opens (National Geographic Kids’ Weird But True) and editing shorts (Hands & Eyes).

As a singer-songwriter and composer, Jeff has licensed songs to television shows like ABC’s A Million Little Things and Breaking Amish: LA. He has also placed songs on radio (NPR’s Reveal), compilation albums and retail programming.

Jeff has also edited and helped conceptualize promos and episodic programming for Hearst’s Car and Driver and Popular Mechanics brands, a series of PSAs for Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Foundation, and Clear Channel’s launch of it’s iHeart Radio video platform, which landed him a Webby honoree for best editing (Alicia Keys’ Empire State of Mind, Part II).
